Lucas AWT Construction

The Lucas AWT took approximately five years to fully complete.  Design took roughly 1 year, construction of the return sections took another year, and more time was spent designing and installing the walls, adaptive wall control system, and support facilities.  Christopher Krok was responsible for the design of the tunnel and overseeing construction, and also built the test section.  Dr. Krok also developed and built the control systems and programmed the adaptive wall and data acquisition systems.
