History of Wind Tunnels at GALCIT
The Lucas Wind Tunnel was built in part of the building space formerly occupied by the famous 10-Foot-Tunnel. GALCIT also managed the Southern California Cooperative Wind Tunnel which operated from 1945 to 1960 (under the direction of Prof. Clark B. Millikan).
